This is a 6 hour course designed to give future security officers the information needed to attain a carreer in the security industry. The State now allows you to take the required course online, without stepping foot into a classroom. Online courses allow attendance to classes, with the flexibility around your busy schedule. This course provides the necessary training needed to obtain a license as a non-commissioned security officer in the State of Texas. Upon completion of the training and earning a passing score on the test, a certificate will be emailed to the address entered on the registration form.
The Basic Security Officer instruction includes: Ethics; Report Writing; Types of Offenses: Radio Procedures; Texas Penal Code; Conflict Resolution; Offenses and Arrest; Emergency Response; Perception of the Officer; Prevention and Deterrance; Observation and Reporting; and Liaison between the Police and the Client.
